I don’t think I’ll ever understand why things have to be so hard at certain times and yet so simple at other times.  Of course, simple times are preferable.  Though, perhaps the struggles from harder times have some bigger purpose?  I suppose our lives are often shaped more by the difficult times than by easy times.

In any case, it would appear that my school’s hosting their bi-yearly Engineering Fair next week.  I’d been looking over the list of possible co-ops/internships for the summer and the one company that popped out at me was Cisco Systems.  I mean, I’d been considering specializing in communications.  Also, they’re headquartered in San Jose, California.  I’ve been to California before and it’s a great change of pace.  If I do decide to get a graduate degree, I’d love to go to Berkley or Stanford for graduate school.  So I just think it’d be a great experience to go to California and work there for a summer, but who knows what will happen.  I’ve just come to accept that what happens, happens.
